Although this year is said to be the warmest winter on record, it was indeed cold at the Botanical Gardens, so today we went to the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium.

I bought an annual passport (5190 yen: 36.36 USD) and went inside.
First, watch a short video to get an idea of the beauty of the Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium.
The aquarium is divided into the North and South Pavilions.
This time we entered from the North Wing.
There is a huge aquarium in front of us. Dolphins are swimming dexterously, twisting their bodies.
In the hall in front of the giant tank of dolphins, the evolutionary process of sea mammals leading to whales is displayed along with fossils.
I don’t know anything at all about marine life, but it is soothing to see.
Fish living in shallow waters.
Some fish have lost their dorsal fins.
Bright corals and clownfish are a familiar and beautiful sight.
Fish living on coral reefs remind us of forests and the birds that live there.
Sea turtles are the elders of the sea.
They swim with dignity.
After leaving the aquarium, a Ferris wheel, the symbol of the amusement park, was located on the same site.
